FAQs

  • Greater energy efficiency = energy bill savings. Consumer Reports calls heat pumps “the most affordable way to heat and cool a home.” Because heat pumps are 2 to 3 times more efficient than many traditional heating systems, when homeowners upgrade to heat pumps they can reduce high energy bills and protect themselves from the price spikes that come with extreme weather or high energy demand.
  • Everybody’s doing it. Heat pumps have outsold gas furnaces for the fourth year in a row, a trend that began in 2022 and accelerated in 2025 with heat pump sales widening their lead to outsell furnace sales by 12 percent. Why not upgrade to the 21st century?
  • Reduce local emissions. Home heating and cooling is the single-largest source of household emissions, meaning that heat pumps are a key resolution to reducing local emissions. For the 70 percent of Americans concerned about climate change, switching to a heat pump is something they can do to support their local environment and take meaningful personal climate action—all while enjoying the benefits of these convenient, comfortable and cost-saving machines.
