Why this discount is available
When demand on the electric grid is high, the heat pump can run on stored electricity, drawing less from the grid.
Google is funding SHARE to prove how investing directly in homes and communities can help meet new and growing electricity needs sooner. That funding pays for your discount.
Who’s Eligible
You may qualify if your property:
- Has a central AC system
- Is not located in a floodplain
- Is within the approved geography
- Is an owner occupied single-family, townhome or 1-4 unit multiplex
- Has an outdoor HVAC system on the ground
- Does not already have a whole home battery or other equipment enrolled in a Demand Response program
- Will be owner occupied until 2028

Rewiring America and our installer partner will verify that your home is eligible based on your address, existing heat & cooling system and other details about your home. See if you qualify here
Get an estimate
The installer will come to your home and generate a project estimate for you, including our special pricing and the discount.
Sign the customer agreement
When you’re ready to move forward, you’ll sign a Customer Participation Agreement.
Schedule your installation
Settle on a day and time with your installer.
Enjoy upgraded comfort
You heat and cool your home when you need it. Meanwhile, the EnerSync system charges during times of low electric demand and helps reduce energy use from the grid when demand and costs are higher.
